This is our first direct mass mailing for any
reason and we believe that this email to you is within the bounds of fair
use since you have
been so
kind as to provide your email address for what we consider to be
legitimate use. Don't worry, we haven't sold our mailing list and
have no
plans to do so! The last image we want to project is one of cheapness or
betrayal of trust.
We've been considering a quarterly newsletter to
keep artists informed not only on our products, but also on cool
techniques and tools to use
while
working on wax, not to mention some features from other artists. We
respect your privacy, and if you decide you'd like us to remove you
from our
mail list, please just let us know and we'll do so without question.
Jake and I at WillowProducts.com are pleased and
excited to tell you about our latest product "ZEN". We've been
working for months to get
this
ready for release, which has been scheduled for Sept.21,2008 which
celebrates my mom's 86th birthday. Jake is preparing to begin
shipping
product starting next week on Sept.22,2008. Of course as usual, we'll be
shipping in the order that orders are received (provided payment is not an
issue)

The biggest changes on ZEN is :
1) Talc which is become a supply issue is not
used in this product (see my blog for more info)
2) This has allowed us to make a new color which
artists have long asked for?. Tan ( I don't like using the word Flesh as a color). As
can read
in the links above, ZEN is a balanced wax blended from 3Sixty (360) and
FUSE. I feel it is an amazing combination of the two. It
has the
firmness and stiffness of 360 and can easily be additive-modeled when
warm like FUSE.
Jake will begin sending ZEN out next week in the
order we receive orders and payment. Please be patient as we are a 2 man
shop and we
have day
jobs and families as well! Already word-of-mouth from our professional
testers have kept us very busy. But the sooner you
get
your
order in, the sooner we'll be shipping the order to you. I'm just expecting
it to be difficult for us to keep us with demand, but we
pride
ourselves on hard work and persistence to take care of orders from our
customers.
The other change for us is in regard to
International Orders ( those outside the
of the
entire world, we found that there was an additional cost that we were
unknowingly paying and now must ask the buyer to help in that
regard. Paypal has been charging, on average, an additional $2.50
for currency exchange on orders that are not paid in US dollars ( USD).
While we have never charged for the additional
time it takes us to do international paperwork, nor the extra time it
takes at the Post
Office. But
this charge for exchange is literally coming right out of our pocket, so
please be advised that future international orders will
include that
fee unless you go the very slow route of mailing us monies that do not
require us to pass that fee to you.
Just a reminder:
1) We do NOT accept credit cards directly. This
is for YOUR protection. We send you a Paypal
invoice and they do in fact accept credit cards
through
their system with all the security you know and trust from Paypal.
2) We ship via USPS and our standard is Priority
unless you direct other wise. Please know that USPS continues to be the
best value in
terms of
service vs. price, even for international shipments.
